am i right in tinking that a gti-6 manifold will fit my car.either straight on or a wee bit of work.surely it will be a improvement on the standard one and cheaper that a costom one.all in all it will look nice and maybe sound nicer. good idea?bad idea?

It does fit yeah. I think you'll lose bottom power and win a bit in the high RPM's.

Inlet or exhaust dugy? the exhaust is totally different and no amount of tinkering will make it fit, though the inlet fits sweet!!

I thought the exhaust would fit, but you need to redrill the holes for the studs.

Nah the problem is that the mi16 engine has 8 exhaust ports, whereas the gti6 engine has only 4 larger ports so there is no interchangeability, unfortunately as the gti6 manifold is beautiful!!!

ohhhhhhh i c i thought it just needed a wee tinker and it wuld be right as rain.so the inlet goes on.tink i will stick to mine for a bit

You have a xu10j4 or xu10j4rs?

Xu10j4rs if the collector of origin is very good and stainless steel, the change will not give you anything.

If it is a xu10j4 you can mount a collector 309 gti 16 or MI16. But some modifications are necessary.

However it is necessary to amend the intermediary to be connected.

I will be able to change a few times, here is the beast
