Sounds good.
It seems to be the standard head is quite good already, to get some horses out of it by polishing you really need to know what you're doing.
A pair of racy cams is obviously gonna give quite some horses 8)

well things have started to move i spent a couple of hours on the zx today !!! woohoo its a miricle the wife let me have some time to myself! so the exhaust is wrapped and before any of you ask no i will not do yours !! it was a t**t of a job even with the head off i did toy with the idea of taking the whole manifold off but i coudn't be assed (maybe it might have been easier if i had !)

Hehe would have been far easier if you had taken it off, in this state it would have come off easily :)

i beg to differ !! the next join is where the cat used to be and if i had split that joint then i would have had to get a new carbon ring to get it to seal again and i know from expeiriennce that is an odd size and you cant get them off the shelf which would mean playing around with an exhaust leak the moment the head goes bak on too much hassle ! so i strugled and did it with the manifold in place
