Hello everyone!
I am sam.
It has been a while in this forum. I only realize i have not done any introduction yet. My apologies.

I own ZX16V, before this, use to own 2 ZX (4 Doors) before. Staying in Malaysia, a northern part pretty close to Penang, or specifically SP, Kedah.

For some reason, 16Vs is growing in our area. ZX 4 doors is common at our place here.

Hope to learn / share & exchange knowledge and experience with fellow forummers here.

Thank you.

sam

Thanks for the warm welcome!
On ZX availability in Malaysia, i would say quite a fair numbers on the road for 4 door 2.0 Petrol Version with Volcane specs.
There are also some with 1.8A & 1.9 model as well. ZX estate is 1.8A available too but not much.
For 2 doors version, all is 2.0 16V. I am not sure on the exact numbers leftover on 2Door 16V version. It should be around 50, i assume.

Citroen cars in Malaysia wasn't really doing well in Malaysia Market. Not much (or rather) most of the folks here will not appreciate the technology, handling, rides & etc..
This is due to the branding & marketing strategy implemented wasn't really strong. The after sales & support is pretty bad either.
This leads to the owners has to pay higher maintenance cost & yet the issues didn't resolved. It's a nighmare to own Citroen in Malaysia for most of the folks here.

On the other hand, there are also small group who really appreciate the french carmaker who can own up to 3 -5 citroen car at a time, namely Xantia, XM, ZX, or BX.
C4, C3, C2, C8, Evasion & Synergie is available too on our road, but limited.

Below is photos taken on my 2Door. Enjoy...

That's quite a gathering of Zx's Sam , the most I've seen together over here is two 16v's ( mine and cromptons ) at a retro car meet .

Image

Even at the Citroen car club shows you never see another Zx . I went to the ICCCR ( massive Citroen show ) in September and never even saw a normal Zx never mind a 16v .

below photo shows another silver 2door is awaiting for resurrection.
It has been put off the road for more than a year ago due to wiring harness go haywire, ecu blow, & etc.

Hi Mark, thanks for your sharing too...

2door ZX is a rare car either at our place.
Some of the folks over here are not even now this version exist!

4door is much common. Most of it are petrol version 8 Valve.
But some of them who started to convert / transplant 16V XU10J4R into it.
XU10J4R is having lesser hp but is pretty common as 406 is using this engine in our country.

We do have a quick gathering at times. But we didn't limit ourselves within ZX only.
Some of the fellow members who also owns Peugeot 405 / 306 / 406 / 407 does get all together.
