very nice mate.

I don't know if you browse the UK eBay site but there is a guy that is selling a smooth wiper cover for the ZX, although I've never seen one fitted so can't say what its like.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/WIPER-ARM-SMOOTH-COVER-FOR-CITREON-ZX-SINGLE-PACK_W0QQitemZ8074329629QQihZ019QQcategoryZ45645QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem

Also like the yellow, it contrasts well with the dark green.

Thx m8 :)
LOL @ wiper cover :P I was going to do a DTM wiper (from an Alfa 145) but it is short, and needs to be extended.
The way it is now is quite nice tough so I dont think I'm gonna put the DTM on anymore.

Op de eerste foto's heb jij een startcodepaneel, wat is die gebleven? Heb jij dat kunnen uitschakelen?

Groeten.

Time to update this topic again ;)

Had problems with fuel supply so we decided to completely clean the tank:

Image

Something... is broken
Image

Image

Image

Fuel filter, really contaminated with sand, and also water

Image

Tadaa

Image

Yes, ZX'es do rust too ..

Image

But it's under control now :)

Image

New filter, replaced bad hoses

Image

Stuff that came from the tank, also quite some water

Image

Put it back where it came from

Image

More @The ultimate ZX site ;););)

Armrest

I ordered this too blingy armrest:

Image

Sanding
Image

Took the bling off :D
Image

Image

Image

Image

Another exhaust mod

HJS catalyc convertor, the flanges to make it fit
Image

Image

Welding..
Image

HJS look though cat
Image

Testfitting
Image

Image

It fits :) Also we're adding a centre muffler
Image

Piece of metal to weld up lambda hole
Image

Closed!
Image

WiP
Image

Fineshed!
Image

New centre muffler
Image

More maintanance
Have some bonking noises in the front I'm trying to kill.
So we're replacing everything that hasnt been replaced yet :P

Front wishbone bushings
Image

ARB bushes
Image

Strut bearings
Image

Image

Old stuff that came off
Image

That didnt solve it completely. It appeared that it was the strut mounts that had worn out, so those were replaced too

Image

Image

Cant see from the mounts that theyre worn out, but they are!

top job, ZX rusting - surface only of course, not surprising though, it#s obviously a dirt trap up there.

mind you I saw one the other day that had a rotten rear wing - must have been a crash repair.

Yup true..
Though I have to admit, the other day we had to repair a heatshield that had came loose on my parent's '01 Xsara, and it had the same rust on the same spot ;) And that car is 8 years younger :P

As a matter of fact with this cat you dont notice powerloss. It sounds a bit less racey though, and also less louder (but thats good, a loud car sucks on the motorway).
