I'm tied up doing other things at the mo & we've just had the builders turn up so I'll be away from it for a while yet.

 not yet secret stuff is still that at the mo.
The builders are nearly out of the ground, then they start of the shell.
Meanwhile I've been working on my 106, tidying it up.
Currently sourcing parts to progress the ZX on, I'm hoping to get some stuff done over the winter. :(

Right allo all.
I've not been around much lately as bob the builder is still here & my PC went pop the week before last & I've still to fix it.

On the ZX front nothing has happened, as before really bob the builder is here.

The first 'secret project' has died on its arse really. I had sketched out plans to make all the controls in the car computerised, using touchscreens with simple manual toggles behind the centre screen, should the pc fail.
I found a guy producing boards that would convert the buttons into actual relays etc but the software is still in its infancy so its not really 'there' yet.
Anyway take a look at: http://web.onetel.com/~glynnunn/ross/carpc/index.htm for a idea of what I had in mind.

The second 'serect project' is crawling along, I'm picking some bits up in the next couple of days, but they are more spares than actual parts for the project. I'll just say the 'parts' are out of a current Citroen vehicle.

The final 'secrect project' is something that I've dreamed up in the last few weeks & it involves, most likely, german parts. :P

hey great ! :D

What is it like brand? I also planned to graft a supercharger.

But personally I left on a eaton M90 see M112.

That will make you as a modification as mobile crew? Pistons forged connecting rods? How will you manage?

I have a second xu10J4 in my garage that I am going amended xu10J4te but with a supercharger in place of turbo. For the moment it is only because the project finances are not of the party.

I will follow your project carefully! :D

Its a Eaton M62, with a electro-mechanical clutch, so I can disengage it on the fly.
As for further engine tuning I am as yet unsure.
I want to keep the clutch & haven't the new engine to take a pully size off to work out what the psi will be running, if I just bolted it on.
I am hoping for low boost to start with, using a FMIC to bring down the charge temp, & keep the standard internals as long as I can.
I am still unkonwn as what to do regarding ECU's. I'm hoping to run twin maps, one for everyday use, good fuel economy etc, the other with the charger running for out & out grunt. But we'll see.
I have a rolling road within 5 mins from my home which will be great & I'll defently be hounding them as soon as I have the ZX to a point that will roll - & stop - under its own power.
