Time for a update now. we stil processing cheesygrin
Te rebild of the zx goes well. there were a number of electrical failures. But the problems are fixed now 8-)

We make the batery in the trunk of the car. So i have to make a new contact in the front of the car.

looking good this, if i had time money and know how id love to do this to the one i share with my mate. maybe one day when the engine gives up the ghost.

Thanks. I love to do this either. only for a couple of hours :roll: If jou have to grinding valves for a hour of 6 you don,t love it any more titter

are you keeping the engine original or are you intending to uprate the cams and other internal parts?

The plan is to upgrade the engine whit, other cams, other pistons (High compresion), Other con rods, other intake manifold (Thortle body,s), other Ecu, and go up to 8000rpm :twisted:

I'm afraid I have to leave all the oily bits to my friend who used to be a Citroën mechanic , but I love cleaning and polishing , after the winter the cars going up on a ramp and getting a good clean underneath and some more rustproofing applied and some components painted , I am quite fortunate that I have a dispatch van as my daily driver and the Zx is on the drive out of the way , Mark
