just a small update. the matrix has been replaced and fitted back in the heater. it has been put back in to the car and dash put in aswell. neil has also been busy putting 2 guages. one oil temp and the other oil pressure. these are in indivdual pods attached to each side of the instrument cluster, these are running from a sandwich plate on the block.

this is the dash as it is now. neil put some gauges in indavidual pods, one on either side of the dash display. one is for oil temp and the other is oil pressure. just got to do a little more on the drivers side with the covers for the fuse box as the securing clips were broken and finding the same clips is very hard. so may have to come up with some other clips to do the same job.

this pic is with the oil filler moved to the front drivers side from where it was at the back of the engine bay on the bulk head. this was done as the pipes were all bunched together with water pipes and wire for varoius sensors and didnt look great.

Why put in 2 gauges when the car has oil-temp and pressure gauges in dash as standard?

it wasnt that bad to be fair. just had to be careful not to break the flimsy clips on the dash and other parts.

We've put the gauges in as the standard ones have massive amounts of filtering on them and would be of little use on track
as I very much doubt the standard gauges would show anything like a momentary blip in pressure cheesygrin
