Hello,

I am new to this forum. I live in Norway and i am restoring a black -95 16V. I hope to be able to post some pics later on. At the moment i have the engine and gearbox out and i will be going over the engine and change the clutch etc. I have changed or renovated all the steering parts. I have ordered a set of 40mm lowering springs from H&R, but i have not decided what shocks to choose. I am thinking about yellow Koni`s all a round. Anyone having good or bad experience with this combination ?

Welkom to the Zx16v forum 8-)
Sounds like a good project.
What I hear about the koni yellow shock absorbers is that they are very stiff.
Billestein are alot better and less stiff.

If you ok whit it i replace your topic to show your Zx

Have driven the H&R Koni Yellow(middle setting) combination for about 50.000km and in my opinion it really wasn't too stiff, car handled great. For the money Koni yellow is probably the best you can get. I now have Monroe(std replacement) with also H&R springs and orginal dampers at the back and while the back is ok, the front is rubbish.

I changed the topic title as this is more suitable within this forum. I have merged several post into one and fixed the image links.
You can add as much images into one post as you like, there is no need to make a new one for each one. When pasting the IMG link from photobucket it already has tags, so don't use them again via the board when posting.

I have been going over the car and luckily there is no rust, this is a previously one lady owner car ! It has quite a few km 290` and thats the main reason for taking the engine out. I hope to get away with the head done.

That really looks like you are going the whole hog with sorting her out , to be fair I've had 3 in the uk plus a couple of volcane td's and not one had any rot.

I've always fancied a 4wd zx with the maxi bodykit myself, dreamer though.

Steve.
