I am getting close to start up, but i have some trouble with the electrical. First i have dismantled a Defa warm up unit. This has been connected trough several wires. I have some bad or wrong connections that i need to sort out. I post some pic from the wires that goes out from the ignition switch. I seem to have one wire too many ? I also wonder of anyone know what kind of relays that are sitting behind the steering wheel. I do not have any book that explains. I am just courios to know, se pictures. The car also have a factory alarm. Anyone know if this unit can be dismantled? |

Hello, Its been a while since last time. Dont know why but it seems like i am constantly running out of time !!! Well to be honest i been doing some other priorities, but the ZX is far from forgotten. I still have some more work to be done in the front, but I have also started at the rear of the car, its time to get the car dropped a little and i have pulled the axel out and i will be going over the brakelines, calipers and bushings as well. The project is coming on nicely and a bit slow. [/i mg] [img |

Thanks for your nice replies. I know that the rear axle can be a pain in the ass, but i will give it a try. I have a back up plan if it fails. Learning by walking..... |

Well, finally some progress. I dismantled the axle, not a very pleasent job by the way. The tube on one side was completly shot, i then decided to order a rebuild one, got it from UK. Meanwhile i have had the gas tank out and have undercoated the body, also had to weld a whole as the jack has been used wrong. I work on the car when i have time to do so, to many other projects. I am now welding on my better half Saxo Vts, dident now they rust !! [img][/img] |
